Annual Prize Distribution – Primary Section 2025

The Annual Prize Distribution was celebrated in our school for the primary section with great happiness and pride. Prizes were given to students for their achievements in academics sports and various activities. This program encouraged students to work hard, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude. It motivated children to do their best and continue learning with joy.

SPORT DAY CELEBRATION - PRIMARY SECTION 2025

We celebrated Sports Day in our school with great joy and enthusiasm for the primary section. The day was filled with fun excitement and active participation from all students. Children took part in various sports and games with happiness and team spirit.

Sports are important for children because they keep the body healthy and the mind fresh. Through sports, students learn discipline, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship. Playing games helps children become strong, active, and energetic. It also teaches them how to follow rules, respect others, and accept both winning and losing happily.

Sports Day encouraged our students to stay active, enjoy physical activity, and develop a healthy lifestyle from a young age. The event was a memorable and joyful experience for everyone.

They participated in various activities such as collage making, Preamble reading, drawing on topics related to National Constitution Day, poster making, and many other engaging activities.

The celebration helped students understand the importance of the Constitution in a fun and creative way.

COMPETITIONS IN CLASSROOM 27.09.2025

n our school, various competitions were held in the classrooms. Students of Std. 1 and 2 participated in the Show and Tell competition, where they confidently spoke about their favorite objects and shared interesting facts. Students of Std. 3 and 4 took part in the Best Out of Waste competition, where they created beautiful and useful items from waste materials. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and creativity.

NEW INDIA LITERACY PROGRAMME-NILP STARTED BY GOVERMENT OF INDIA IN 2022-27.

Navbharat Saksharta Abhiyan (also called New India Literacy Programme – NILP):

Launch: Started by the Government of India in 2022–27.

Aim: To make every citizen literate, especially those above 15 years who missed formal schooling.

Focus:

1. Foundational Literacy and Numeracy – ability to read, write, and do basic math.

2. Critical Life Skills – like health, digital literacy, financial literacy, and legal awareness.

3. Vocational Skills – skill development for earning livelihood.

4. Basic Education – covering subjects of primary/middle level.

5. Continuing Education – self-learning, libraries, and other resources.

NAVBHARAT SAKSHARTA ABHIYAN WEEK CELEBRATION 2025

Navbharat Saksharta Abhiyan Week is celebrated to spread awareness about the importance of literacy and education for all. During this week, schools and communities organize activities like reading sessions, poster-making, rallies, skits, and slogan writing. The aim is to promote the message “Each One Teach One” and encourage everyone to work towards a literate India.

Tilak Punyatithi was celebrated in the primary section withgreat respect and enthusiasm. The program began with a special assembly wherestudents presented Tilak’s famous slogan “Swaraj is my birthright and I shallhave it.” Teachers spoke briefly about his life and contribution to India’sfreedom struggle.<o:p></o:p>

In our school, various competitions were held in the classrooms. Students of Std. 1 and 2 participated in the Handwriting Competition, where they showcased their neat and beautiful writing. Students of Std. 3 and 4 took part in the Poster Making Competition, where they designed creative and colourful posters. All students participated actively and enjoyed the events.

The orientation program for the primary section was conducted to warmly welcome new students and their parents into the school family. Today was a day filled with joy, laughter, and endless excitement as the little stars of Vivek Vidyalaya set off on their much-anticipated picnic to the resort. From the moment they boarded the bus, their bright smiles and cheerful chatter lit up the atmosphere.

The journey itself was an adventure, with singing, clapping, and playful giggles setting the tone for a delightful day ahead. Upon reaching the resort, the children were greeted with lush greenery and refreshing surroundings—a perfect place for fun and exploration.

The little ones splashed around with pure joy in the water, played games with boundless energy, and created cherished moments with their friends and teachers. Lunchtime was another highlight, as they enjoyed delicious food while sharing stories and laughter.

Lokmanya Tilak Punyatithi

103rd Punyatithi of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Bal Gangadhar Tilak, also popularly know as Lokmanya Tilak, is a prominent figure in the history of India. Tilak's death anniversary is observed on August 1st every year. He was popularly called as ' Lokmanya' which means 'beloved leader ' by his followers. This day reminds us about the great contribution and sacrifices of a freedom fighter like Lokmanya in bringing independence to our motherland India.

The main motto of celebrating this day is to raise awareness about Yoga. The theme for this year's Yoga day was "Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" which signifies "Yoga for the welfare of all, as one World-one Family ". The students performed various asanas to bring out the importance of yoga in serving better mental health practices in our lives. Inter-School Choral Recitation and Origami Collage Competition was conducted by Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika's P/South ward schools for Std.1st on 10th of December, 2022 in Vivek Vidyalaya premises. 18 Schools participated in Origami competition and 16 Schools participated in Choral Recitation competition. Vivek Vidyalaya won the 1st Prize in Choral recitation Competition.
