THINKING DAY PRIZE WINNERS

On 22nd February, the Scout and Guide students of Vivek Vidyalaya celebrated the birthday of Lord Baden Powell, the founder of Scouting, with great enthusiasm and zeal.

The program began with the singing of prayer songs by the students in a horse-shoe formation, setting the tone for a day filled with excitement and adventure.

Various competitions like Drawing competition, bandage and knot making competitions were conducted The students participated with great enthusiasm.

The Thinking Day celebration was a huge success, with students participating in various activities and competitions with great enthusiasm. The event helped to promote the values of Scouting and Guiding, such as teamwork, leadership, and community service.

  1. Vivek Vidyalaya & Junior College participated in KP west ward sahashaleya upakram under the category of Senior(std 9 to std 12) and Junior (std 6 to std 8) Group Folk Dance Competition. The Senior group secured 1st prize and the Junior group secured 2nd consolation prize. Senior Group performed Gaur Nach, the folk dance of Warli Community in Palghar, Wada from Maharashtra performed at the time of Ganesh Festival. The Junior Group performed the beautiful dance form of Hojagiri from North Eastern states of India. Each group 12 students participated and were honoured at the time of KP West Ward Science Exhibition conducted in Shree Ram Welfare High School, Andheri.

Vivians - now adorn the role of climate warriors Visit to the US consulate General office.
We would like to thank you for coordinating your students' visit to Dosti House on August 2 to participate in the hands-on workshop on 'Building Climate Warriors for a Sustainable Future.' The program began with a welcome note by Dosti House team followed by an interactive workshop led by scientist Dr. Megha Bhatt which also included a DIY activity on solar energy. We encourage the students to implement the learnings and share their innovative renewable energy projects which they might do in their home or school. The U.S. Consulate will feature their success stories on its social media platforms.

Master Pranav Santosh Shirishkar got 1st prize at Zonal level in Mayor's drawing competition 2020-21. The prize included a certificate and a cash price of Rs 5000.
